Inventory lookup & control
Mobile web applications for warehouse and inventory operations. Physical inventory counts, cycle counting, receiving, put-away, picking, and transfers — all from a phone or tablet using the built-in camera as a barcode scanner. No dedicated handheld hardware. No batch files to upload at the end of the day. Every scan writes to Pick in real time.
Two people can count the same warehouse simultaneously without overwriting each other's work. Supervisors see count progress in real time. Variances flag immediately. The audit trail lives in Pick where it belongs.
The stack
We build with PHP and Slim framework on the back end, Bootstrap for responsive layouts, and Alpine.js or htmx for interactive front-end behavior. The Pick connection runs through command-line integration or platform-specific connectors (UniObjects, mv.NET, mv_connect). Everything runs on the same Linux server as your Pick system — Apache, PHP-FPM, and your Pick environment, side by side.
No React, no Angular, no Node.js, no Docker, no Kubernetes. The stack is deliberately simple because simple stacks are what small teams can maintain for years without a dedicated DevOps person.
